How exciting that you’re exploring Havening. It’s been a truly life-changing and freeing technique for me, and for many of the people I’ve supported over the years. Finding someone who feels right for you is important, so here’s a little about me to see if anything resonates.

I’m a mum and step-mum to four wonderful kids, and happiest when I’m outdoors—up a mountain, in my garden, or anywhere with fresh air and good views. Professionally, I’ve found my niche working with young people and children, and I also love supporting adults who are ready to grow into the best version of themselves. I combine Havening with NLP and creative, strengths-based approaches to build resilience, shift mindsets, and navigate life’s challenges with compassion and positivity.

For the past 15 years I’ve worked in youth justice and mental health, and in 2015 I co-founded Cultivate Christchurch, a social enterprise and charity supporting young people through organic horticulture, conservation, and adventure therapy. If you like veggies and organic goodness, our urban farm on Peterborough Street is always open to new volunteers!

I’ve supported people of all ages through tough moments, trauma, or simply feeling stuck. I believe deeply in people’s capacity to grow far beyond what they imagine when given the right tools and support. Havening has been the most transformative technique I’ve ever used—often creating change more quickly and gently than anything else I’ve trained in.

I hold qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care, Psychology, Education, NLP, Forensic Mental Health, and now the Havening Technique. What drives me is simple: helping people thrive. When others flourish, I flourish too.
